My Favourite Self Tanners

Hi Ladies,

I'm back!

I don't know about you but this time of year (cold and generally grey with the odd sunny hour) makes me feel very blah. In short, fake or self tan makes me feel better about myself. I feel like I look much healthier and not so ill and none descript if that makes sense.

I'll start with a negitive then let you know my favourites and how they could work for you. Firstly, I purchased Loreal Sublime Bronze Express Pro in Medium from Boots for £15. I was excited to try a new product and like the convenience of being able to use a spray can. The long and short of it is that it smells terrible and after washing off the product the next morning, there was NO colour pay off. None! My skin was literally the same as when I had applied the night before - BIG NO NO and not what I would expect from such a well known brand.

In complete contrast, my current favourite self tanning product is Loreal Sublime Bronze Gel!
I love love love this stuff! Easy to apply, dries quickly and gives the most lovely natural tan. Also, this fades gradually which means no patches and uneven skin tone. I'd highly recommend as one tube tends to last me five applications.

One word of warning though, if you have oily skin, be careful using this on your face. My skin is normal/combination and the day after application, my face can seem oily. This does settle down by the next day though.

Another favourite includes Xen Tan (lovely colour, if a little pricey at around £30.) I purchase this when I have a special occasion or fancy giving myself a treat, otherwise I stick to my good old Loreal!
What is your self tanner of choice?

Thank you for reading.

Love,
Amy
xx
